If there isn’t a community choices event on your doorstep in the next few weeks and months, there’s a good chance one’s not far away. From the Shetland Islands to the Borders, the Ayrshires to Fife, there’s an event coming near you soon!

The Scottish Government's Community Choices Fund has been supporting participatory budgeting (PB) in 2016/17 for more people to have a direct say in how, and where, public funds can be used to address local needs. Targeted at work in deprived areas, community groups as well as public authorities, including local authorities, were able to apply for funding to organise their own participatory budgeting events.
