South Centra£ Decides on Saturday

On Saturday the 30th APRIL 2016 (11am to 3pm), people in South Central Edinburgh will have the chance to decide how £200k is spent on housing, the environment and roads.

The South Central Neighbourhood Partnership has  over £200,000 worth of funding available for distribution in 2016/17 and residents of South Central are being asked to decide which proposed projects are funded.  Anyone over the age of 8 is eligible to vote so long as they live in South Central.

The money is spread over three pots - community grants (focused on the local environment), housing revenue and roads capital. Proposed projects can be viewed online and will also be available to speak to on the day before voting.

The event will take place at Methodist Church Hall, 25 Nicolson Square. Further information, on the event, the proposed projects and contact details are available on South Central Neighbourhood Partnership's website
